How to sleep with curly hair
You wake up and feel like you have to start over EVERY DAY! You don’t. There are many easy ways to set yourself up for success and still get a good night's rest. Yes, taking your hair up into a pineapple pokey at night can be a great idea. However, I feel like you should use a cloth or scrunchy when doing this technique or a twisted bun. Use a rubber band NEVER and some of the bands that you would use during the day can be too strong and so it will create either a breakage point in the hair or a flat spot. If you use a scrunchy or a cloth band it will be more gentle on the hair itself and you will have less breakage.
I also recommend a T-shirt or a very thin rayon tube to slide your hair into before you sleep. It scrunches your hair naturally all night so you will have a better-formed curl and less fuzz in the am. I also love that these items are great to leave on the hair and shower. They are fine enough and thin enough for you to utilize the steam from your shower to help rehydrate the hair. Side Note: Do not get the tube wet, just allow the steam to do its thing. Do not take the cap off right away. Dry, and get dressed, I even do my makeup and then slide it off. If you do it when the hair is wet, you may disturb the hair too much and pull out your curl pattern.
